We Need Your Help to Support our Mission!
Personal support and opportunities for fitness are important components of healing and thriving. We seek your support to help defray the costs of putting the "Pinks" on the Willamette River for weekly exercise and for our six races for 2011. Our regular practices provide a safe haven and nurturing environment for women dealing with the consequences of breast cancer. Our presence in the Rose Festival and other races demonstrates to crowds on shore that breast cancer survivors can be strong athletes. We want to serve as a beacon of hope for anyone who might one day receive a diagnosis of breast cancer and remember seeing boatloads of women competing, enjoying life, and surviving this disease.
Among the specific costs that need sponsorship each year are race fees ranging from $750 to $1,300 per race, and boat rentals for practices three times weekly from February through November, costing about $4,400.
How to Support Pink Phoenix
Pink Phoenix is a 501(c)(3) organization. We will supply our Tax ID number and receipt for all donations. We appreciate any donation, large or small, and recognize donors on our website's "Sponsors" page. Donations of $250 or more will be recognized on our team T-shirts. Donations of $500 or more will also be recognized on our Rose Festival Banner.

2011 Hawaiian Vacation Raffle to benefit Pink Phoenix
Support us when you purchase a chance to win a Hawaiian vacation package for two, designed by Blue Skyz Travel. Each $20 ticket is a chance to win 6 nights at an ocean front condo. Car rental and airfare are included. A maximum of 500 tickets will be sold. Drawing will be held on September 11, 2011; you need not be present to win.

Additional raffle rules: Must be 18 years or older on or before September 11, 2011, to purchase a ticket; reservations must be made through Blue Skyz Travel; date of travel is subject to availability, and winner may arrange aalternate dates by supplementing the package with their own funds; travel must be completed by August 31, 2012.
